Burnt Spruce
A soft, subtle medium-gray shade inspired by natural ash tones. Distinguished by its neutrality and lightness, this color brings a sense of calm, cleanliness, and elegance to both interiors and exteriors.
Medeksa Ash is perfect for contemporary, minimalist designs, allowing for easy pairing with brighter or richer shades while maintaining visual balance. It is a versatile color for those who appreciate aesthetic restraint.

Wood species
Scandinavian Spruce (AB)
Surface treatment
Wood charring (Shou Sugi Ban technique), mechanical char brushing
Finishing
Coated twice with water-based wood oil, color: Medeksa Ash
Single-brushed finishes subtly highlight the natural wood grain, leaving more of the protective carbon layer intact than double-brushed surfaces. Gray tones, such as Medeksa Ash, are a practical choice that helps minimize visible fading over time. Depending on usage conditions, refinishing may be required less frequently than for light, double-brushed surfaces (e.g., Medeksa Sand).
Due to lighting conditions during photography and display settings, the shade shown in the photos may differ from the actual product.

KEEP THE COLOR
The same water-based oil we apply twice in production. Re-oiling with it keeps the original depth of color – decking every 1-3 years, facades every 5-7 years.
